When will the 2023 Hyundai Palisade be released and available?
The release date of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will be in the Summer of 2022. The 2023 Palisade will be available to buy at Hyundai dealerships throughout the United States and in select international markets.
How much does the 2023 Hyundai Palisade cost?
Hyundai didn’t yet release the price information of the 2023 Palisade. However, given the new design and features, the 2023 Palisade will likely cost slightly more than the 2022 Palisade. The starting price of the 2022 Palisade ranges from $33,600 MSRP for the SE trim up to $47,290 MSRP for the Calligraphy trim.
2023 Hyundai Palisade: Engine output, fuel economy, and towing
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade has the same 3.8-liter V-6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission that’s in the 2022 Palisade. The output of the engine is 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. Buyers of the Palisade have a choice of either a front-wheel drive system or an all-wheel drive system.
Hyundai didn’t yet release the fuel economy estimates or the towing capacity of the 2023 Palisade. However, since the powertrain for the 2023 Palisade is unchanged, the gas mileage (up to 19 city/26 highway mpg) and towing capacity (5,000 pounds) will likely be similar to the 2022 Palisade.
2023 Hyundai Palisade: New exterior and interior design and features
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade has a new design and new features for both the exterior and interior. New exterior elements include a new grille, front and rear bumper fascia, headlights, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and auto-dimming outside mirrors.
Exterior paint color options for the 2023 Palisade include:

- Hyper White
- Steel Graphite
- Sierra Burgundy

For the interior, the 2023 Palisade has a new steering wheel, instrument panel, gauge cluster, audio interface, seating surfaces, ergo-motion driver’s seat, and 2nd-row armrest angle adjuster. The Palisade also has newly available heated 3rd-row seats and acoustic-laminated rear door glass. Seating material options for the Palisade include cloth, leatherette, leather, and premium Nappa leather.
New technologies for the 2023 Palisade
Buyers of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will also benefit from the plethora of new technologies and upgrades to existing technologies. This includes:

Features in the rugged 2023 Palisade XRT trim
Like the Hyundai Santa Fe and Tucson, the 2023 Palisade adds a rugged new XRT model to its trim lineup. Notable features for the Palisade XRT include rugged-themed 20-inch alloy wheels with a dark finish, a front grille with a dark finish, a rugged-look front and rear fascia with skid plate design elements, a rugged-look lower door trim, and black leatherette seating surfaces. The Palisade XRT also has a power sunroof and black roof rails.
With the new design and features, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will likely be even more competitive for the three-row midsize SUV segment. However, its closest rival, the mechanically-similar Kia Telluride, also has a refreshed design and new features for the 2023 model year.
