Evacuation orders have expanded as a brush fire burns near homes in Napa County on Tuesday afternoon. The fire is 5% contained. Containment means there is a break or line where combustible material around the fire has been achieved, helping prevent the fire from spreading further. Evacuations were first ordered from 1300 Old Soda Springs Road to the end of the road. They now extend to all of Soda Canyon Road and include these areas on the Zonehaven map: NPA-E206,E207, E214, and E215. There is a road closure in effect at Silverado Trail. The Old Fire has burned at least 120 acres northeast of Napa as of 5:20 pm, according to Cal Fire’s Sonoma-Lake-Napa unit. The fire is 5% contained. Containment means there is a break or line where combustible material around the fire has been achieved, helping prevent the fire from spreading further.

Evacuations were first ordered from 1300 Old Soda Springs Road to the end of the road. They now extend to all of Soda Canyon Road and include these areas on the Zonehaven map: NPA-E206,E207, E214, and E215.
